Sous Chef Responsibilities
  • Reporting to Executive Chef in all aspects of upscale dining restaurant.
  • Hands on leader working with staff.
  • Training and developing future kitchen leaders.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and handled in a safe manner.
  • Creating specials- work with the Chef on menu development.
Sous Chef Background
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years upscale kitchen management position
  • Good knowledge in sourcing local fresh ingredients.
  • Experience cooking steaks and seafood.
  • Good leadership skills; Good communication skills.
  • Good team player; coachable, flexible creative.
