We are searching for someone who is willing to learn and who will help create delicious, quality food for every customer that walks through our doors or serves up a plate of pulled pork at one of our catering events.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the execution of quality food following proper procedures and R&R standards
-Serve as the point for all of the needs of the line
-Help organize the restaurant for proper food rotation and cleanliness
-Oversee the prepping, stocking and staging of all food, paper, and chemicals
-Must follow the prep list and shelf life procedures
-Understand and assist according to the needs of To Go, Catering, and Delivery areas
-Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
-Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and other managers
The Cook/Prep Cook reports to the Kitchen Manager and Management.
-No prior experience required. On the job training provided.
-Must have current food handlers permit, slip-resistant shoes, and proper uniform or be willing to obtain.
-Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in lifting heavier items.
-Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
