Ecumen Evergreens of Fargo seeks a Dining Assistant to join its team. Ecumen Evergreens of Fargo consists of 30 independent living and assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 15 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services. Ecumen creates home for older adults wherever they choose to live. The Dining Assistant is responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving and cleanup. Maintains work area in order and follows established policies and procedures of the facility. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Assists with preparation, serving and clean-up of food services as directed.
  • Properly operate equipment in the dining department upon completed training.
  • Follow safety and sanitation techniques as directed.
  • Respond to resident requests, complaints and concerns promptly. Notify supervisor of these concerns as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate respect for facility property and supplies.
  • Accomplish routine, daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Related experience preferred. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently, and demonstrate a positive attitude, high integrity and ethical awareness.
