- Maintains a friendly, outgoing personality and a positive & cooperative attitude
- Remains current in primary/specialty certifications, continuing education credits (CECa??s), and CPR/AED certification
- Prepares for class, arrives early, greets participants by name, uses microphone (if applicable) and remains after class to be available to participants
- Teaches a safe and effective, member-focused class that promotes success
- Continually strives to keep class content updated and innovative
- Accepts member & supervisor feedback in a positive, constructive manner
- Wears uniform designated by club policy & adheres to all appearance guidelines by representing a healthy role model
- Maintains studio presentation at all times
- Enthusiastically supports PRO Sports Club and the Group Fitness Department and is willing to help when called upon for substitute teaching
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Previous experience as a Group Fitness Instructor and in leading group fitness classes
- Current CPR/AED certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Current, nationally recognized, accredited primary Group Fitness Instructor Certification required (ACE, AFAA, NASM) and/or Specialty training/certification relevant to mode of instruction (Martial Arts, yoga, Pilates)
- Primary Group Fitness Instructor Certification is required to be completed within 6 months of employment for specialty formats other than Martial Arts, yoga, Pilates (Zumba fitness, group cycling, TRX, etc)
