Aquatics Director

• Supervises the daily operation of the swimming pool facility and surrounding pool area. Responsible for all aspects of the swimming pool and the use of its facilities. Ensures that all lifeguards and/or swim coaches fulfill their job responsibilities as stated in their job description.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the Olympic size swim pool, youth pool, pump-house, pool deck and furniture, pool office and Youth Room.
2. Directs all coordination of pool personnel and pool activities.
3. Oversees maintenance of pool and pool facility.
4. Staffs and supervises swim instructors, coaches, competitive teams, pool membership, pool parties and any other activities.
5. Supervises operation of the filtration system and health equipment of chlorination of pool.
6. Supervises cleaning of the pool and upkeep of all pool equipment and facilities, pool chairs, diving board, etc.
7. Generally oversees all pool operation and personnel and coordinates any pool activity during or after official Club hours.
8. Insures that the Camp Woodmont campers are properly supervised.
9. Together with his staff, insures that all Club members receive courteous, prompt, professional attention to all their swimming needs.
10. Work closely with the committee chairperson to make any necessary changes for the safe operation of the pool.
11. Help to develop the annual operating and staffing budget for approval by the Board of Governors.
12. Based on approved staffing budget, recruit, hire, train and develop a professional staff of employees to manage the swimming pool.
13. Develop, promote, implement and supervise program for all levels of swimmers.
14. Performs any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Must possess a CPR certificate and Maryland/Montgomery County Pool Operator License.
• Prior managerial experience at a a??highly regardeda?? swimming pool required.
