USI JB Insulation, in Sherwood, OR is seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for general warehouse labor and forklift operations.
SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the warehouse and grounds for safety and cleanliness, unloading material deliveries and stocking materials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Move merchandise and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas by hand or using a forklift, hand truck, or dolly
- Count, verify, and record amounts of products or items received or distributed
- Sort and place products or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code
- Administer general warehouse maintenance, including sweeping, care of hand tracks, pallet jacks, and forklifts
- Other ad hoc responsibilities & tasks as assigned Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills and abilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma/GED
Knowledge & Experience
- Previous warehouse experience (1 years) required
- Forklift certification required
- Inventory control experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work 11:00AM - 7:00PM Monday-Friday and occasional overtime & weekends
- Full-Time Position! (40 hrs./week)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
