About this job
We are a 95-room all-suite hotel designed for long term stays. The Houseperson is primarily responsible for cleaning the public areas of the hotel, such as the lobby, breakfast area, lobby restrooms, guest exercise room, guest laundry room, hallways/stairwells, removing trash from Housekeeper's carts, receiving/stocking deliveries of hotel supplies, etc.
We will also cross-train the Houseperson to occasionally help in other areas such as laundry (washing/drying and folding hotel linens with commercial washer/dryer) and cleaning guest rooms.
This position is 40-hours, 5-days/per week. Because we are a hotel, staffing is needed 7-days/week so applicants should be flexible with work schedule. Monday - Friday shifts are from 8am-4:30pm. Saturday/Sunday shifts are from 8:30am - 5pm.
Also, our company only requires 30 or more hours/week to be considered full-time and eligible for benefits such as medical/dental insurance, life insurance, holiday/vacation/sick pay. All employees also have access to discounts for themselves and friends/family at Marriott hotels.
