Description For NeuroRestorative-ME and The MENTOR Network the Life Skills Trainer is one of the most exemplary reflections of the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. The people that carry out this rewarding, care giving support play an integral and crucial role in the success of our organization.
NeuroRestorative-ME is seeking Life Skills Trainers in our Standish Clinic to provide training, assistance and supervision to MENTOR ABI Group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, occupational therapy, and other forms of assistance. Life Skills Trainers facilitate working relationships between clinical staff and MENTOR ABI Group participants and are an integral part of the treatment team. Schedules are generally Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm but may be adjusted to meet the needs of programming.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • PSS, DSP, or CRMA preferred but not required
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services industry preferred
  • Valid drivera??s license from state of residence
