Maintenance Technician

Aerotek's client is a small Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul shop that services a variety of aircraft parts. They work with brokers, MRO service centers and their parent company to repair parts. They are located just outside of Charlotte, NC.

The opening for a technician is due to an increase of parts coming in within the next month. Most of the parts coming are generators for corporate jets.

The Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for performing functional tests on the part, disassembling it, diagnosing and repairing the issue, then reassemble it and test again.

Job description:
* Overhaul and repair of aircraft fuel and hydraulic pumps, actuators, pneumatic valves, generators.
* Read and interpret manuals (CMM), service bulletins (SB) etc.
* Troubleshoot and determine most efficient methods of repair
* Operate fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical test stands

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience of pneumatic and hydraulic principles
• Aircraft knowledge is a plus
• Must provide own basic tools
