IMMEDIATE HIRE FOR FULL TIME GIS ANALYSTS -- Our client is a local government contractor in the Northern Virginia area that is performing data analysis for Nautical Data Editing. The project will involve Digital Nautical information for mariners and the U.S Navy. They will be performing Data upgrades and using an extensive amount of GIS Software to manipulate geographic data for government clients. 100% TRAINING is involved
Qualifications:
-Must have a Bachelors degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or GIS (
- GPA of at least 3.0 cumulative
- 1-2 years of experience with GIS and Arch GIS/internships are preferred
-Proficiency with ArcGIS
-Must understand placements on imagery
-Appreciation for Geography
MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE.
