**This position is in the Greater Charleston Area in Dorchester County, SC**
Job Description:
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve working knowledge of plant equipment, drawing, records, and systems.
- Provide necessary updating to drawings created by modifications to equipment, errors, etc.
- Develop a working knowledge and understanding of the SAP ERP system.
- Maintain engineering electronic documentation and CAD software systems
- Understand company policies on unions and actively support the effort to remain union free by effectively communicating and interacting in a positive manner with non-exempt colleagues.
- Draft a narrative commentary by area for the Engineering Manager to draft a monthly report.
- Heavy Industrial Environment
- Working in office and on the plant floor.
Qualifications:
- Strong project planning and construction management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Possesses the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers (maintenance and operations), engineering consultants, external suppliers and vendors.
- Takes hands-on approach to problem solving
- BS Degree in an engineering related field with 5 years industrial engineering experience.
