DAY TO DAY:

• Responsible for conferring with engineers to interpret design concepts and produce final construction drawings.
• Quantity takeoffs, working from site drawings Providing drafting and designing support by preparing and maintaining engineering drawings.
• Preparing designs from general instruction, site drawings, preliminary sketches and/or diagrams.
• Providing recommendations for modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification.
• Preparing working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product
• Use of AutoCAD
• Some travel may be required.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of progressive experience as a CAD Drafter; or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Construction industry experience a plus
