Certified Medical Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently looking to hire multiple Medical Assistants for a variety of hospital systems in the Baltimore area. Candidates must have 1+ years of experience and be currently certified or registered by the AAMA or AMT as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant, as well as CPR certified. There are a variety of specialties available. Candidates should be able to work between the house of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Additionally, candidates should have experience with an EMR--EPIC, Centricity, IDX, etc.

Job Duties:

• Greet patient
• Take medical history
• Take vitals
• Assist physician with minor procedures
• Educate patient on diagnosis or procedure
• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Referrals
• Collect co-pays
• Answer the telephone
