Quality Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is currently working with one of our clients in Foley, AL area to identify a Quality Engineer. This is an immediate need, Bachelors Degree is required.

Job Description

* ECA / released change analysis and check, at the applicable effectively point, of correct incorporation in the SAP routing,
* SWCS or ISWCS (Type A & B) review and approval in Teamcenter before release and in particular the split of the BOM from the drawing into the several SWCS depending the manufacturing process (per EEP 1009 extract attached),
* Tracking of QN/Concession status for traceability in the manufacturing/delivery documentation, if any,
* Tracking for traceability in the manufacturing/delivery documentation of Escape, if any,
* For each PPS delivered, check for compliance all documentation (routings, QN, CofC… ) generated or provided by the shop floor inspector when assembly is complete or correct transfer of the work,
* For each PPS delivered, check CNF's (Major changes) embodiment (Folio D),
* For each PPS, the configuration TEAM is guarantor that the "AS BUILT"= "AS DESIGN" including specific contractual requirements ( for example for paint livery per AIRBUS STT)or have to denounce the gap,
* Prepare CAIR/E-CAIR for Buy off and load requested information in Airbus systems (PSQM or SAP),
* Update CAIR/E-CAIR and update requested information in Airbus systems (PSQM or SAP) per contractual requirements after delivery to Airbus premises until final A/C delivery to the airliner,
* Comply to PART21G rules before and for issuing EASA Form 1 for approved signatories
* Prepare record retention of all assembly and delivery documentation per PPS,
* Turnbacks collection
* Interface with engineering and manufacturing personnel, as well as vendors and customers.
* Audit processes to assure compliance to Quality practices, accuracy and completeness of Quality records, and work instructions. Support and participate in the Internal Audit process. 
* Support Quality Engineers with development and implementation of product and process quality plans and standard work that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements. Actively seek opportunities for process improvement
* Actively seek opportunities for process improvement
* Perform training as applicable and facilitate quality improvement initiatives
* Work constructively within teams focused on problem solving
* Declare and lead investigations for any escapes that might occur following approved methods.
* Contribute to applicable root cause and corrective action requirements
* Participate in the internal Quality System Audit program for the organization.
* Support the process in various capacities such as being on an audit team, helping to develop root cause and corrective action as applicable as well as improving the audit process.
* Facilitate or lead customer or regulatory audits
* Performs all duties as assigned
