About this job
Aerotek's client is targeting a technical customer service rep.
These reps job duties will include providing product and sales information, order status, availability and pricing to Distributors and customers.
They will also provide assistance to select proper part/product for their specific repair/application, to include researching parts manuals and engineering drawings.
They will also train distributors on the use of their programs to enter orders.
Assist distributors with selecting parts and working through manuals, schematics and blue prints.
Perform Level 1 troubleshooting, these would be basic issues, any more technical issues can be escalated.
Review incoming orders, verify they're complete and enter them into the system. They receive about 100 orders per day as a team and there are currently 4 people on this team.
They will also enter in e-commerce orders.
Work with distributors on pricing, availability and order status questions.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have product customer service experience, not a service.
Technical customer service reps will understand how to read blueprints, schematics, etc.
Bachelor's Degree preferred
