About this job
Immediate need to hire an Electrical Designer to join our team and be responsible for preparing and modifying designs of: substations, electrical distribution systems, lighting plans and individual machine electrical control circuits. This role will be designing in AutoCad Electrical 2014
Job Duties:
* Makes design layouts involving knowledge of electrical machines, components and circuitry.
* Makes drawings of electrical substations, distribution, lighting, and machine controls.
* Prepares bill of materials, specification sheets, procedures, instruction and any technical work necessary to complete designs and assignments.
* Maintains working records and prepares reports and correspondence concerning design of electrical installations.
Qualifications:
* Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, related field or equivalent work experience
* 2+ years of Electrical design/drafting experience
* Ability to understand electrical systems and electrical components
* Can design a panel layout
*design capabilities in AutoCad Electrical 2014
