Aerotek is currently supporting a security installation company based out of the Greater Baltimore Area.
They are looking for an experienced security cable technician who has experience with Access Controls, CCTV, and Burglar Systems. The territory that this individual will be responsible for will be between Baltimore City, DC and Northern Virginia and will be working on commercial and industrial facilities.
Job Description:
- Install CCTV, access control, burglar systems and intercom systems
- Basic programming such as adding card readers, cameras and alarm points to any system
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair any system or component as needed
- Accurately document time sheets, service acknowledgment, quotes, inventory transfer sheets and inspection certificates
- Will be required to be on-call after normal work hours or holidays/weekends (once every 5-6 weeks)

- After 90 day training period, technician will recieve company service truck and gas card
- For the first 90 day training period, gas will be reimbursed per mile

The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of security installation/repair experience in the commercial/industrial industry
- Ability to work independently
- Successful completion of access control, CCTV and burglar system manufacturer training
