Machine Operator

Aerotek is looking for 5 machine operators. Job Duties include
1.Practice established safety procedures and report safety concerns or unusual conditions to your crew leader or supervisor.
2.Identify all film products, extruders and process equipment.
3.Remove finished goods from process machinery accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintain continuous production. Set-up equipment for receipt of next roll of material.
4.Assist process start-up or in the event of web break.
5.Perform quality testing as specified, isolate out of specification production from quality goods, and communicate out of specification instances to designated personnel. Document quality test results accurately in prescribed manner.
6.Understand the Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) for each extruder and product type and what each parameter means.
7.Maintain stock of supplies and raw materials to process area.
8.Label, package, palletize, and store finished goods as prescribed.
9.Maintain work area in a neat and organized fashion. Includes machines, floors, ink stations, resin areas, and finished goods area.
10.Communicate significant concerns which may negatively affect quality production.
11.Perform process maintenance tasks as instructed.
12.Pulling finished rolls off the machine every 2 minutes
13. Ability to lift 13-40 lbs
14. Metric system knowledge
15. ability to multi-task, they are expected to build boxes for the rolls to get packaged into, print labels, and complete quality checks in between switching rolls on the machine


** STEEL TOES REQUIRED other PPE will be provided.

2 Shift A openings 6am-6pm, 3 B shift opening 6pm -6am
1 week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
2nd week- Tuesday, Thursday
3rd week- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
4th week- Tuesday, Thursday
