***2 of these roles will be true Catalog Specialists who work on catalog data and augment the existing catalog to make it more efficient. The other 10 will be stylists sourcing for the sites.

Seeking an enthusiastic, independent individual to join the Product Ads Team. Products Ads is an advertising product that allows merchants to create ads for new and existing items on the website. Merchants are charged a cost-per-click when customers click on an ad that leads to a specific item on their website. The program is designed to increase selection for our customers shopping on the website and monetize traffic. This role will focus on creating various classification mappings and hierarchies to allow Product Ads to surface in a variety of categories over the next 6 months. It will also involve research that will feed into the determination of the ad prices for these categories. Qualified candidates will be independent, customer focused, strong communicators, and diligent researchers and interested in understanding how a large retail website is organized.

Schedules:

  • Monday-Friday 9-5
  • No OT
  • Contractors should hit the ground running within 2 weeks to ramp up

Business Overview:

  • These stylists will be working on recommendations for customers on the fashion sites within Amazon.
  • They'll be shopping for the sites, and making personal recommendations for the users based on search history.
  • Will need to understanding data from customer shopping history
  • This project is the first of it's kind - It's very innovated that's being tested and learning as it grows
  • This is a new business that's run with leeway, flexibility, and opportunity to invent.

Metrics/Deliverables:

  • Review a daily queue products to add attributes * Review products and provide expert recommendations to customers * Possess flexibility to quickly adapt to business needs/changes * Execute tasks in a timely manner and to a high degree of quality * Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, and help implement those improvements.
  • Train others on custom-built internal tools -Once ramped up the 10 will have to hit a certain amount of styles each day this number is still up for review but roughly 20

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree, preferably in a fashion-related major
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Composed, poised, and professional demeanor

-3-5 years experience in any of the following fields: personal shopping retail sales experience merchandising customer service data entry experience.
