Tool Crib Attendant
Our client is currently hiring immediately.
Tool Crib Attendant:
Perform sharpening / modification of cutting tools using cutter grinding equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and
returned. Includes pre-setting of cutting tools, sister tools, and "T" tools using Zoller and various tool setting equipment.
Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
Performs the receipt, unpacking, and storing of incoming Tool Crib purchased items.
Ensures proper company mark labeling and identification on items and storage locations.
Expedites delivery of goods to users within the company.
Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment. Maintain and monitor tooling inventory using tool management software ( TMS)
Receives, unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
Inspects and measures tools and equipment for detects and wear and
Repairs, services, sets and lubricates tools and equipment.
Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
Maintains 5S initiatives within workplace.
