The primary responsibility of a food hauling operator of any level is the safe and timely transportation of food, trash, and other restaurant amenities from the truck drop off to on mountain restaurants via a snow cat with a large transport bed attached to the back of the snow cat.  Responsibilities will also include:

Job Duties:

  • Loading, transporting and unloading large bins between the warehouse and on mountain dining outlets
  • Delivery via Snowcat of products for mountain dining facilities
  • Constant focus on safety and efficiency
  • Work outside in inclement weather, at times
  • Work mornings or nights and over weekends
  • Follow sanitation standards
  • Learn appropriate travel routes on the mountain
  • Responsible for daily routine maintenance and upkeep of Snowcat
  • Work closely with warehouse and restaurant staff
  • Communicating with supervisor and management all issues, incidents, and problems. 
  • Communicating with fleet maintenance any issues or damage to cat.
  • Be open to working a varying schedule and help out by picking up extra shifts when required

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a Snowcat or light/heavy equipment - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Valid US driver's license with no restrictions and satisfactory driving record - required
  • Able to communicate in English, written and spoken – required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age-required
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs.-required
  • Able to climb on and off the vehicles frequently-required
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time while operating the snowcat-required
  • Able to use two-way radio (both speaking and hearing instructions)-required
  • In person interview-preferred
