The Keystone Maintenance Crew helps maintain the Village Base Area by the Keystone Lodge as well as other areas of the resort. The position involves snow and trash removal as well as other landscaping duties in addition to general maintenance duties, as assigned.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Assure that the integrity of the resort lodging assets is maintained
  • Assure all work conforms to all applicable state and local codes
  • Follow the established automated preventative maintenance programs (Hotsos)
  • Provide training to maintenance staff when required in job specific tasks
  • Coordinate projects with sub-contractors, when required
  • Order and maintain required parts for stock for critical equipment in conjunction with chief engineer
  • Follow all safety procedures and alert supervisor to any unsafe conditions that might exist
  • Work with other departments and area managers as required
  • Utilize the automated Work Order system for all work performed
  • Keep required paperwork and job logs updated daily
  • Abide by all corporate, state, and federal safety rules and regulations
  • Attend training classes for job specific skills
  • Maintain a good attitude and people skills even during high-pressure situations
  • Be a good leader
  • Complete daily summer preventative maintenance and repairs - including carpentry, painting, mowing, weed whacking. and ladder work
  • Complete daily winter maintenance - including snow removal, upkeep of base area, and trash removal
  • Maintain supplies and equipment, letting supervisor know of needs
  • Perform light repairs on equipment - including changing belts, lubrication, sharpening blades, and safety checks

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • Trade school and/or landscaping training
  • Previous skid steer and landscaping experience - preferred
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage
  • Competent in Microsoft Word - required
  • Able to write and speak English fluently - required
  • Good administrative skills
  • Posess your own hand tools and keep them in a safe functional manner at all times
  • Possess a valid Colorado Drivers License - required
  • Be available to take on call for after hours work when required
  • Be able to arrive on time to work and meetings
  • Ability to get things done as well as good knowledge and understanding of hotel maintenance operations
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs
