Location: Sparks, NV
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.50/hour, paid weekly

Shifts Available: 7:00AM to 7:00PM or 7:00PM to 7:00AM

Day or Night (4 on, 3 off) 4 teams (2 different day and night shifts)

Bonuses:

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN OVERVIEW
  • Test product or sub-assemblies for quality manufacturing; react to non-conforming parts
  • Troubleshoot problems with mechanical or automated equipment, devices, and products
  • Collect hazardous or non-hazardous waste incorrectly labeled bins and transfer to appropriate areas in compliance with OSHA and facility safety regulation and procedures
  • Typically involves a variety of operations, including troubleshooting and rework, requiring a sufficient understanding of the functional operation of the items assembled; as well as the finished product
  • Responsible for quality activities, including self-inspection and bad parts
  • Escalates deviations, bad parts and/or problems to technicians and engineers (as applicable)
  • Abide by 5S standards, participate in 5S activities and maintain a clean workplace
  • Set-up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and procedures
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and business needs

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to comply and support established company policies and governmental regulations
  • Capability to perform repetitious duties while standing for at least 8 hours
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and take direction
  • Must be reliable, team-player, driven, demonstrates respect for safety and an eye for quality
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED 
  • Updated Resume and two forms of ID
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 to 50 pounds on a daily basis
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in full production assembly, semi-assembly and/or automation
  • Must be able to work from complex and detailed manufacturing documentation and/or verbal and written instructions and specialized fixtures/ test equipment
  • Must have experience working with a variety of hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and machinery
  • Ability to grasp progressively advanced concepts as sub-assembly transitions to automation
