The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timeliness are not compromised. The Manager, Strategy & Research will be working with the research, strategy and sales teams. The key responsibilities will be to deliver unique analysis and research services while leveraging MYB's core capabilities to address clients' strategic and tactical business challenges. This individual is curious and thrives on research, uncovering and communicating relevant insight and providing future recommendations based on data and research. Position will take on project management for Strategy accounts and ensure solid account communication, coordination and organization among necessary parties. They are comfortable and skilled at keeping all the project needs front and center while using subject matter expertise and critical thinking to ensure outstanding client deliverables. Additionally, this position will support the Sales & Administrative needs of agency which may include research to help inform Sales Team, as well as writing proposals and related documents and/or proofing documents as needed. Ongoing office administration such as supply management, kitchen duties and phone/door coverage are part of the role in this boutique size agency. RESEARCH A. Qualitative Research Coordinate Stakeholder interviews following established process and protocols, as well as account parameters Schedule and maintain database of stakeholder interviews Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and thematically code and synthesize qualitative data for higher level insights B. Secondary Research Analyze client competitive environment with SWOT Develop comparative analysis Perform environmental scan for client projects Conduct marketing analysis Critically evaluate information garnered and leverage data from multiple sources to deliver relevant insights and create recommendations based on findings C. Ongoing Develop firsthand knowledge of clients critical business issues Become a subjet matter proficient on a variety of topics, industries and organizations Play a key role in planning, outlining and developing insights and content including supporting proof points Assist with proofing/testing surveys Be prepared to present findings at client meetings or over the phone Strategic Services – Trafficking and Project Coordination Manage, coordinate, and update department project status documents, planning tools and systems to ensure success of projects Proactively review deliverable dates, draft and manage timelines, and project plan tasks across all project team members and strategy account teams, working to communicate schedules, due dates, anticipated conflicts, and suggesting recommendations for possible adjustments, etc. Proactively work with Account Leads to run and review project time tracking reports and help team members manage time effectively Set up administrative structure of accounts and projects as needed such as: Consistently ensure organized electronic and hard files Time Tracking management (project entry in system, etc.) Proactively assist with all aspects of project management (set up client calls, organizing and distributing project notes, files, participating in account meeting and coordinating “next steps”, archive past projects, etc.) Liaison with clients as appropriate to communicate project status, next steps, etc. Assist Strategic Department with client deliverables Prepare and organize discovery documents Participate in brainstorm sessions to ideate innovative solutions for client challenges Format and proof client deliverables (Point of View decks, MarCom Plans, etc.) Provide proactive support for administrative departmental tasks such as: Proofing sales proposals Binding presentations and proposals Strategy dept travel management Tracking project expenses and assisting team in organizing billing – coordinating among the Account Lead, Accounting and team members as needed Client Communication and Care Office Admin In our boutique agency this position assists with phone management, ordering supplies, kitchen upkeep, etc. YourMembership.
