The Region Fleet Manager leads the Supply Chain Fleet operations in an assigned geography by developing Fleet Capability, Reliability and Sustainability. In the Region Fleet Manager role we are looking for a strong leader for the Region Fleet Team. The RFM must build and sustain strong business relationships with Sales Teams to provide a fleet of safe, reliable, efficient vehicles. The role requires advanced business management skills and a strong technical understanding of fleet (or automotive) maintenance and repair. The RFM will implement tactics and strategies to continuously improve the maintenance processes that support the Supply Chain. This leader will maximize the Sales Fleet and the Over the Road Traffic Fleet performance. This role is responsible for day to day fleet activity of assets, shop maintenance, technician capability and engagement, and all related facets of Fleet Operations (i.e. asset planning, fuel conservation, vendor management, safety, productivity, project management, environmental management, financial performance, and controls). In addition, the Region Fleet Manager will recruit and develop technicians throughout the geographies distribution centers, manage vendors/supplier relationships across the Region and coach / influence the Sales and OTR drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the Region Fleet Team to deliver the cost, quality, service, and reliability results

* Develop and execute the Fleet Annual Operating Plan. .

* Build a Region specific strategic plan to drive Fleet performance.

* Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability of the fleet.

* Develop and manage a comprehensive asset utilization plan.

* Develop and execute an annual fleet financial plan.

* Execute a fuel conservation plan to reduce fuel usage and improve overall MPG

* Manage all regulatory compliance (DOT, EPA, FDA)

* Develop Technical and Non-technical capability of the Region Fleet Team

* Manage the Fleet Service Center

* Maintain a dotted-line relationship with the Mountain Region Traffic team

Job Qualifications: (Preferred)

* Master Business Administration

* Fleet maintenance experience

* Certification (CPFM) or equivalent

* Advanced computer system knowledge

* DOT certified training (ex. JJ Keller)

* Advanced CMMS experience

* Region Fleet Management experience

* Advanced Leadership and change Management training

* Proven Leadership results

* Cross Functional experience in Logistics, Operations or Finance

* Strong ability to influence cross functional teams

* Experience building and executing strategic plans

* Vendor Negotiation skills

* Knowledge & experience with DOT guidelines

Minimum Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree

* Intermediate computer systems knowledge

* Ability to manage Technician & Fleet Staff performance

* Effective interaction skills with Customers, Sales, & Ops

* Demonstrated Change Management experience

* Excellent writing and analytical skills

* Leadership skills including coaching, facilitation, presentation and team building

* Flexible - willingness to work off shifts and weekends

Physical Requirements:

* Frequent standing and walking

* Sitting occasionally to frequent

* Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally

* Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear

* Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested manufacturing areas

* Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season)

* Must pass a drug screen and background investigation

* Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel toed shoes, rubber gloves/boots, etc.
