This position provides pharmacy oversight and services in accordance with federal (FDA GCP, USP ), OSHA, state and local Laws / regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Pharmacy Activities

* Training of Pharmacy staff

* Limited Access to Pharmacy staff

* Inventory

* Storage / temp control

* Dispensing

* Compounding Sterile and Non Sterile to Sterile product for administration.

* Recall and Quarantine of Product

* SOP , Design and updating as needed

* Available 24/7 for all pharmacy related issues, on call is required for off site hours.

* Comply with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy

* Comply with FDA / USP guidiances as required

* Review study protocols and investigator brochures with investigators and provide information regarding the class of drug, MOA, T and potential risks associated with the class of drug and prohibited concomitant medications.

* Provide Feedback on protocol design, detail and Pharmacy related items.

* Complete medication profile on study subjects as needed.

* Advise investigators of prohibited medications / Other as appropriate.

* Create pharmacy Manual and or Batch Record as required.

* Present for Site imitation visit and participate in I/E as it relates to DDI and Dosing of IP

* Present for Study monitors , IP inventory and documentation review

* Attend team meetings, phone conferences, quality improvement meetings, educational activities, and training as needed.

* Provide leadership, direct supervision and work direction to pharmacy teammates.

* Provide Pharmacy information/ input to all Team mates, to promote the profession, and knowledge of others.

* Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures.

* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy and completion of a pharmacy internship.

* Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in the state where the research clinic pharmacy is located.

* Minimum of 6 years of experience as a pharmacist required.

* Minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience preferred.

* Supervisory experience preferred

* Early morning/evening/weekend/Holidays work required as necessary to meet study requirements.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required; functional proficiency in all computer systems within 90 days of hire required.
