Loss Prevention Investigator

Responsibilities

• Conducts and resolves specialized and complex investigations involving theft/fraud and dishonesty.
• In partnership with DC LP teams the DC Investigator will support and identify case closure opportunities as well as training and upskilling opportunities with LP staff to increase overall network theft resolution results.
• Communicate with DC LP Manager of Investigations and Distribution LP Managers on matters regarding DC investigations.
• Work in partnership with DC Managers, Distribution Services, LP Management and Supply Chain LP Management to ensure gathering of necessary evidence.
• Develop alliances with Federal,
  State: and local Law Enforcement agencies, which maximize prosecution and restitution opportunities.
• Ensure the protection of TJX assets and associates.
• Develop strong partnerships with all areas of DC Management to support the role and business objectives of the DC network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent job-related experience
• 2 years of Investigations experience within a distribution center or multi-store retail environment or law enforcement/criminal investigative experience.
• Experience with progressive LP methods
• Investigation and interviewing skills, Wicklander certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to travel up to or more than 50%

Position to be based out of Pittston, PA or New Jersey.
