Description
SUMMARY
Develops , interprets , and implements complex system and performance related concepts or techniques for planning and control purposes. Responsible for conducting and documenting complex system analysis projects, as well as working through a full development lifecycle. Understands how to move and translate large data volumes efficiently through an Extract, Transform and Load process.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop Cognos 10 cubes using Framework Manager, Report Studio and Query Studio.
· Develop ETL Packages. Understand how to move and transform large data volumes.
· Develop SQL packages and stored procedures/macros on Teradata, Oracle and SQL server for data extraction and movement.
· Conduct special comprehensive studies to analyze various complex actions and prepares recommendations for policy , procedure , control , or action
· Analyze system information to determine present and future performance
· Perform special studies and analysis in various data warehouse areas to include forecasts , financial plans , statistical reports , and business forecasts
· Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts
· Ability to work within a set development methodology.
· Ability to create automated solutions based on customer and internal requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 year associate degree with 3-5 years of significant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
