Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of projects. This person will seek out subject matter experts (SMEs) for internal systems and capabilities to drive operational efficiencies, provide solutions to a variety of business and technical challenges and understand dependencies to ask the right questions to draw them out. This position requires developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders to obtain project objectives.

This position requires developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders to obtain project objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to conduct interviews with users and create user requirements based on the interviews
- Ability to translate user requirements into technical requirements
- Develop project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed
- Oversee all phases of projects from conception to completion to ensure on-time completion
- Ability to manage multiple project plans
- Track and report on project risks, progress, issues, and milestones; provide status reports to management, project teams, and project stakeholders
- Provide leadership to project teams
- Review, update, and implement new PMO processes to promote process improvement
- Attentiveness to details and drive to follow through on the smallest details
- Good written and verbal communications skills
Supervisory Responsibility - This job does not have supervisor responsibilities.
Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in the IT field
- 3 – 5 years of project management experience in IT
- Familiarity with IT concepts is required
- Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus
- PMI certification is a plus
Computer Skills - Microsoft Project
- Project Web Access (PWA)
- Office Automations Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Travel - No Travel
