Position Summary:

The Special Processing Lead will be responsible for coordinating activities of team members in conjunction with and in absence of the supervisor. Ensure team members are working safe and accurately following guidelines. Train new team members in job duties to standards, and be responsible for daily production report. The Special Processing Lead will also be required to perform the same duties as the associates. Candidate must also be able to operate RF technology; use a blade to open cartons; lift up to 50 pounds; stand for a full 8 hour shift. Overtime and weekend work required at times. This position will provide support to the 500 plus Burlington stores nationwide. Experience in a fast paced, dynamic distribution environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload cases from pallets when necessary
• Ticket product when needed
• Special packaging of each item
• Scan cases using RF (radio frequency) technology and complete puts
• Pack and label cartons
• Load cartons on to pallets
• Load trash refuse in containers
• Keep workstation and aisles clean and uncluttered
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with accuracy and detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable.
• Ability to work independently.
• Results oriented.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Experience in a distribution environment a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to bend and squat for duration of shift.
• Ability to push heavy cartons.
