PrideStaff Portland is looking for a Cabinet Finisher/Woodworking Craftsman for our Client in Hillsboro.
Our client is a Commercial Woodworking Company that is currently looking for individuals to work in their Production department. This position is not one that has large volume repetitive tasks. Most work done by the company is lower volume, highly customized, client specific work. If you thrive in an environment where your skills and abilities are valued, then this is the position for you.
The company has been serving the greater Portland market since 1982. They specialize in custom commercial frame-less style display cabinets. Their client list includes local companies such as Nike, Columbia, Pinnacle, Adidas, etc.
Position Summary:
The Cabinet Finisher/Woodworking Craftsman works with a variety of stains and paints to execute and create the design of the clients. Multiple components are created and then assembled. Most projects will have a run of limited numbers based on project needs. Projects change day-to-day and week-to-week. While this is a production position, there are limited long-term production runs and most projects are unique.

- General Woodworking and construction skills preferred.
- Ability to use general hand and power tools.
- Production dowel cabinet assembly and plastic laminate fabrication experiences are desired but not required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience
