A company in Chatsworth is looking URGENTLY for a

Quality Control Inspector

Your role will be to:

• inspect materials and products such as sheet stock, machine shop parts, and metal castings, for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties.
• compare product to be shipped against sales orders to verify correctness of parts, quantities and associated quality documentation.
• compare product with parts list or sample model to ensure complete assembly.
• compare received articles with purchase orders. Complete pertinent Q.A. forms logs.
• examine material or product for defects and sorts product according to extend of defect.
• read and understand technical drawings.
• interface with personnel of the Defense Contract Management Agency.

Requirements:

• read and understand technical drawings.
• must have working knowledge of CMM Programming.
• understand dimensioning tolerances, run out. Usage of various measuring instruments.
• usage and understanding of various measuring instruments.
• High School diploma or equivalent and one year’s prior experience as mechanical inspector or inspection training certificate.

$18.00 per hour
