PrideStaff is seeking a licensed custom broker who helps importers and exporters meet federal requirements for international shipments. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm that will compensate anywhere between $45,000 to $70,000 per year depending on years of experience with customs.

- Responsible for compliance with trade laws and regulations
- Advising clients on proper import-export procedures
- Conduct Customs business on behalf of client
- Submits all necessary documentation to clear good that enter the United States
- Prepares the entry forms that include shipment information such as the classification codes, country of origin, weights and quantities
- Transmit the information to U.S. customs electronically via the automated broker interface
- Assist clients in securing paperwork needed to qualify imports for trade programs
- Assist with export shipments by providing information on on expert licenses and submitting information through automated export system
- Must retain all documents related to Customs transactions in an orderly itemized manner for at least 5 years from the date of entry
- Must be licensed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection
- High school diploma
- At least 2 years or prior experience in customs
- Have Common Sense
- Have Intelligence
