Quality Control Assistant

We are looking for several quality control assistants for an immediate temporary assignment that has the potential to turn into long term. The initial duration of the assignment could be up to 1 year! This position requires someone to have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends. The shifts will vary for this position. Starting pay is DOE.
Duties may include:
Basic Working Conditions: The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Overtime and work on weekends may be needed. The employee must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Duties may include:
- Test for release of raw materials and/or finished product intermediates and/or finished products
- Perform basic laboratory operations
- Operate analytical instrumentation
- Notebook documentation/review
- Sample raw materials and/or finished product intermediates
- Assist and support Analytical Chemists
- Work with Quality supervisor to test all incoming parts
- Help manage quality failure projects
- Help to maintain clean, safe and organized work space and warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
- Education in chemistry, biology or Science related field is required
- Experience working in Quality Control
- High attention to detail for accuracy
- Excellent Communication skills both oral and written
- Have flexible availability
- Must be a team player
- Desire to learn and grow
- Problem solving, time management, product knowledge, and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to read measurements in metrics, volume, kilograms and understand conversions
- A proven work history of delivering great quality of work
