Our client in Hayward has an immediate need for a top quality Shipping/Order Filler associate! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!
Shipping/Order Filler
Description:
- Make/prepare orders
- Process will call orders
- Prepare weights and dimensions for freight orders
- Help with large contract orders when necessary
- Greet customers arriving for will call
- Assist clients with will call documentation, get signature
- Print shipping labels when necessary
- Assist UPS with the daily pick up
- Help organize documents in the shipping department
- Check in material delivered to Kortick
- Return parts to warehouse location
- Organize inventory on shelf when necessary
- Close open boxes
- Re-label boxes if necessary
- Maintain clean work space throughout the day
- Throw away boxes that are no longer needed
- Refill all tape dispensers and staplers
- Organize work equipment at the end of day
- Assist with Assembly/TDG on occasion
