Production Associate: Entry Level
Our Client is an industry leader in vacuum metallizing principally engaged in the aerospace, defense, medical, and highly reflective coatings industries.
Job Summary:
The Product Associate supports the manufacturing process for parts used in a variety of industries. Each part will be prepared with a variety of “masking” techniques prior to having specialized coatings applied. This position is entry level and has repetitive tasks. The ability to follow instructions and document work performed is important to the successful completion of the task. The is room for advancement in this organization and strong performers are always rewarded appropriately.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No experience in manufacturing is required. Prior experience in small parts assembly preferred
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work overtime on short notice
SCHEDULE:
HOURS: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (day shift); Monday through Friday
Pay: $12.00/hr

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain established masking procedures per work instruction
- Ensure all masking pieces are kept clean and stored in its designated location
- Assist in packaging and inspection of parts
- Correct potential masking/running mistakes as directed
- Stage clean parts on trays
- Forward good parts to the Inspection Department
- Bring quality issues to the attention of the Quality Manager or Supervisors
- Finish daily tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain daily masking log
- Work in a team environment by assisting other maskers, inspectors and machine operators as needed
- Keep workstation and surrounding area clean and walkways free of clutter
- Performs other related duties as required
- Ability to read and write in English (required for daily masking log)
- Ability to stand on feet for 8-10 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to work with/around Isopropyl (alcohol)
- Must be able to wear Nitril gloves (or Latex)
