PrideStaff is working with a very established, well-liked, company in Fenton, MO to locate a dedicated QUALITY INSPECTOR to work in a full-time, never-boring, position.
ASSIGNMENT TIMEFRAME: 6 Months
PAY: $13.00/hr - $18.00/hr (based on experience)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Professional environment
- Office-type area where Inspections will be conducted
- Team environment. Quiet/clean environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform functional testing of finished products
- No complex dimensional inspections required (e.g. using CMM, complex gauges, micrometers)
- Some light dimensional inspection requiring the use of calipers, go - no/go gauges, company will train if necessary
- Perform visual inspection of finished products
- Complete written data entry on to inspection paperwork recording results for function and visual inspections
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 1+ years of Quality Inspection experience
- Must have strong ability to visually inspect finished items to ensure no defects in appearance (i.e. flaws in product finish, burs, etc)
- Must have strong ability to inspect finished parts to ensure properly fit together and move in accordance with specifications
- Clear writing skillls are critical!!
- Detail oriented with documenting inspection data on applicable paperwork
- Must have high visual acuity
- Experience with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to sit at inspection work bench throughout the day
- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must provide 2 work references (no personal references please)
