Job Title: Regional Supervisor
Temp or Hire
$18 and up dependent on experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Quick problem solver
- Some schooling
- Significant experience over the general “fast food” or "Restaurant" industry.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Education or equivalent
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Permit and unfettered access to a personal vehicle to support field duties
- Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
- Must have two years proven experience as a Field Supervisor or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge and application of all aspects of error-proofing process development
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of Field Supervisors
- Strong ability to effectively multitask, prioritizing and proactively managing anticipated challenges Special Requirements:
- Must be able to meet the physical challenges associated with repetitive handling or automotive parts and components
- Will be required to work in manufacturing environment, characterized with prolonged ambient noise
- Must possess innate attention to detail, diligence and vigilance to ensure effectiveness of quality containment processes Responsibilities: Reports to the Regional Manager
- Supervise Field Staff on assigned shift
- Arrange resources, prioritize jobs and ensure client requirements are being met
- Coach and develop Field Staff, recognize areas of improvement and implement remedial and sustainable corrective actions
- Audit job sites and inspection processes to ensure company standards, including ISO standards, are met and exceeded
- Interface with client representatives to manage and resolve customer issues
- Order personnel and equipment resources to support planned requirements
- Prepare documentation and pro forma reports to support and manage process
- Identify risks/challenges to process effectiveness and implement continuous changes as required to reduce/eliminate these risks/challenges
- Manage customer expectations to ensure they are congruent with support activity and efficacy Training:
- Will attend Management Inc’s Regional Supervisors’ Training Plan for theoretical and practical job specific training. This training must be completed before individuals are permitted to accept the above-mentioned responsibilities. Regional Supervisors will participate in periodic refresher training of specific modules in accordance with emerging needs or shortfalls
Regional Supervisor:
- Is subject to provisions and guidelines of the Progressive Discipline Policy
- Will receive periodic assessment of skills and knowledge through formal and practical validation testing, confirming formal
Regional Supervisor's Training plan and close observation/supervision of assigned tasks by the Regional Manager
