Summary:

As the Manufacturing Process Technician, you will be an integral member of the team. Your key responsibilities are to assist the Manufacturing Technology engineering group with technical support for manufacturing, including conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing solutions. Additional support is provided through design, construction, and implementation of equipment, tooling, and process systems. Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally; you will perform a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing processes, including aiding the production departments in troubleshooting production equipment and facility problems. As well as aid in solving technical problems associated with the manufacturing processes related to raw materials, intermediate products, final products, equipment, and containers.

Duties
  • Investigation and execution for all standardization for the manufacturing process.
  • Investigation for the improvement of manufacturing processes to reduce manufacturing costs and enhance safety.
  • Investigation and solution for the technical problem in the manufacturing process.
  • Support for the troubleshooting and the maintenance for manufacturing equipments.
  • Custom manufacturing for customers and internal evaluation.
  • Assist engineering and manufacturing groups in designing, construction, and implementation of needed equipment, tooling, and process system.
  • Pursue activities for continuous improvement related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Performance of other duties related to the smooth operation as of the facility as required, including cleaning and general housekeeping
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience for 0 - 3 years in a manufacturing environment or in a related area.
  • Proficient in various Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (and / or Lotus Notes)
  • Knowledge of Statistical Techniques such as Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments is beneficial
  • Maintain ISO document and record control.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (both oral and written).
Education:

A.S. or A.A. degree in chemistry, engineering, or an equivalent education.

Work Scheduled: M - F, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00/hr. DOE
