About this job
Our client, a growing freight forwarder/customs broker located near the JFK airport is seeking a Customs Audit Supervisor.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 1 st shift
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting CW (Census Warning) Overrides; High Duty Audits, Office compliance, Classifications, Staff training, etc.
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Requirements:
Customs Broker License preferred but not required
Must have previous auditing experience
Ability to read the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
The ability to help train is a MUST
Exceptional organizational skills are required
Strong time management skills are required
Working knowledge of MS Excel is required
Kewill experience a plus but not required
Strong interpersonal skills with other team members a MUST
Ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
Competitive salary and benefits package offered!
