Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial Maintenance Electrician - Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Client in the Hanford/Lemoore area is looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanics with STRONG Electrical experience to join their team. Our Client offers competitive pay and benefits.


Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintain & troubleshoot Hydraulics, Compressors, Pneumatics, conveyors, production equipment, etc.
• Electrical experience is a MUST
• PLC experience a plus
• Preventative maintenance
• Weld (Stick, Mig, or Tig) and oxy-acetylene
• Use power tools & measuring devices proficiently
• Operate and maintain Cranes, Man-lifts, and Forklifts
• Basic to Intermediate Electrical work
• Basic to Intermediate computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
• Intermediate to Advanced Electrical skills or certificate from technical training classes and/or institution are a PLUS

Requirements:

• PLC experience a plus
• welding skills: fabrication skills are a PLUS
• able to operate a computer, a wide range of hand tools, test instruments, and maintenance equipment
• able to follow written, verbal, diagram instructions or blueprints
• Excellent verbal communication skills and legible handwriting
• able to: plan, prioritize and organize work effectively
• analyze problems, propose solutions, make logical decisions, carry out decisions made and follow up with feedback where necessary
• troubleshoot production equipment
• Excellent attendance record is a must
• knowledge of up to 460 volt circuits, both single and three phase wiring is a PLUS

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency plus maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of recent, relevant experience in a Production or Manufacturing setting.

Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shift available

Pay: $23-38/HR DOE
