Pridestaff is seeking an experienced Machinist:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE: Two years working in a machine shop
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to operating milling machines, drill presses, grinders, sanders, torches and hand tools. Must know how to use measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, rulers, etc. Must be able to lift, move, and handle heavy items. Must also be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
- Rough mill die casting to specifications
- Perform topping and surface grinding
- Drill and tap dies
- Grind to smooth surface for chroming and heat treating
- Hard surface for chroming and heat treating
- Polish chromed dies
- Box and mark boxes for transfer to inventory
- Keep his/her work area clean and free of debris
