Job Description:

Perform as a member of a team to design and build new and innovative equipment serving the agricultural industry.
Complete design of mechanical equipment, necessary analysis and design reviews.
Create prototypes, shop drawings and bill of materials.
Interact, consult and coordinate closely with fellow designers, production staff, vendors and clients to complete jobs in an efficient and timely manner.
Test and modify equipment in field environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree in area of specialty.
Background in agriculture or related field.
Knowledge and experience with fabrication and manufacturing processes and techniques (willing to participate in shop environment).
Knowledge and experience with drafting (Solidworks or equivalent).
Effective written and oral communication, organization and time management kills.
Display ethics and professionalism at all times.
Works well in both team and independent environments.
Detailed oriented and individual with excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of mechanical equipment and hydraulics a plus.
Ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have an background in AG
