Description

Utility Worker
The Utility Worker is responsible for building product orders for outgoing load placement on route delivery trucks in an accurate and safe manner. The Utility Worker will also be responsible for delivering product to both large and small format accounts on a route for advance product sales. In addition, maintaining strong customer rapport, ensuring quality service and effective merchandising of Dr Pepper Snapple Group brands.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Drive 5S with painting and maintain designated areas. Responsible for painting using industrial paint equipment like: line painter, floors, brush painting poles, door trim, machinery, power paint walls, ceiling, etc..
  2. Perform general upkeep and repairs on building including drywall, framing, painting and finish work. Minor sheet rock repair, hanging mirrors for forklift traffic, making stencil signs and painting them throughout facility.
  3. Monitor the facility and recommend repairs or maintenance for equipment and facility including roof, ceiling and walls of the facility.
  4. Operate fork lifts and high lifts and use scaffolding and ladders as needed.
  5. Perform all duties with necessary precaution within accepted safety practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds as needed
  • 6 months experience in maintenance of a large production facility or apartment complex
