About this job

The Jr. Sous Chef serves as Third-in-command of the kitchen: assist the Executive Chef, and Executive Sous Chef in supervising food quality, production and costs. The ability to quickly and authoritatively delegate tasks to kitchen personnel. Knowledge of all kitchen stations with a readily mentality to fill in for and/or assist cooks to ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly. Familiarity with administrative duties such as: ordering; inventory; training; scheduling; hiring & firing.

The Jr. Sous Chef will handle personal and private employee and company information and requires full confidentiality and discretion. This position requires background security clearance. Should you be unable to obtain the required background clearance, it will not be possible for you to work in this position.
