At Tapestry of Tallahassee, the Executive Chef leads the execution of the dining services at the our new Senior Living Community. S/he provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our residents. S/he hires, trains and leads the culinary team. S/he plans menus and coordinates purchasing for the kitchen. S/he oversees scheduling and staffing of the dining program. S/he works with budgets to ensure the program meets financial goals. S/he is responsible for food safety and sanitation.
The Executive Chef would run the dining program at this site, but additional support and direction would be provided by our Corporate Dining Director; a Chef with over 20 years of experience in the field.
