The Front Office Manager oversees daily operations of Front Office to include Front Desk, Night Audit and all customer service and reservation support functions. The Manager delegates and assigns duties to staff and ensure department members provide the highest level of customer service and adhere to the quality standards and audit requirements of Diamond Resorts International.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day operations of the Front Office, supervise and oversee scheduling, ensuring proper coverage exists. Perform duties of staff positions as needed.
  • Hire, train, motivate, evaluate and supervise Front Office staff; coaching for success and continuing development of staff skills.
  • Responsible for actively building and retaining customer relations and acting as a mentor to Team Members in order to provide superior customer service while delivering the Diamond Difference.
  • Ensures the delivery of great customer service with a "We Love to Say Yes" attitude.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff, within your department and inter-department, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Exercise independent judgment in addressing and resolving external and internal customer service complaints.
  • Create, review and adjust departmental policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Corporate and Club reservations on yield management, rental and Club programs, relocation's and all resort room metric.
  • Perform property inspections.
  • Schedule and conduct staff meetings.
  • Create, control and review departmental budgets, cash banks, petty cash, room rates and expenditures at resort level.
  • Perform detail oriented and often confidential administrative work.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned by Resort/Corporate Management.
