About this job

You will:

be working with the rest of our product team (both functional and technical colleagues), others within Deloitte Consulting s Life Sciences practice expertise (Advanced Analytics & Modeling, Analytics & Information Management, Products & Solutions, Strategy & Operations), and our clients (i. e. pharmaceutical and biotech).
You will work a fast-paced, cross-functional global team environment on the front line of delivery engaging and enabling end users using the ConvergeHEALTH Miner platform to improve their workflows and expedite their time-to-results.

A bachelor s degree in Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Informatics, Outcomes Research, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field, with an excellent academic record
2+ years of professional experience in a life sciences or biotech company working in an analytical capacity
At least 1 year of programming experience with R, SAS, Python, MatLab or/and other statistical software packages
Experience with the planning, management and delivery of project-based activities
A strong ability to understand, profile, validate, and analyze large data sets
Understanding of modeling behind data sciences across disparate data sources across medical claims, EMR, clinical trials and more
Experience with agile business intelligence / analytics tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Spotfire, R Shiny
Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts
Exceptional interpersonal, team-building and communication skills, including presentation skills (i. e. experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Ability to work under pressure in an extremely fast paced and at times ambiguous environment, with tight client deadlines
Willingness to travel up to 50%


Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a health care-related field (e. g., MHA, MPH, Masters in Health Informatics) or advanced analytics field (e. g., MS in Analytics)
Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (e. g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle
Familiarity with bioinformatics and translational research
Familiarity with open source software (e. g., Apache Foundation, OHDSI, i2b2/transMART)
