Overview

Your Role: This position is responsible for controlling, inspecting, recording and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic.

  • Inbound Traffic
    • Verify and Record inbound arrival traffic / visitor information.
    • Contact effected department for entrance authorization and instructions.
    • Provide destination directions and instruction.
    • Inspect and Record inbound vehicle data
    • Verify product returns.
    • Prepare product OS&D documentation.
    • Process Company Driver check-in paperwork.
    • Computer data entry as required-including AS400, TMW, DC Yard Management, and Microsoft Applications.
    • Inspect inbound vehicles
  • Outbound Traffic
    • Record outbound departure traffic information.
    • Check/Verify outbound driver s delivery paperwork and vehicle assignment.
    • Coordinate correction of paperwork or vehicle assignment errors.
  • Inspect outbound vehicles.
  • Computer data as required-including AS400, TMW, DC Yard Management, and Microsoft Applications.
  • Reefer setting checks
  • Schedule delivery appointments for Dot Drivers.
  • Role Specifics:

    • Assists safety department with dissemination of company driver notices and messages.
    • Notify safety department of safety or security accidents, incidents, or violations.
    • Assist Dispatch with after office hours driver support (People-net, Total Mail)
    • Scan company delivery receipts.
    • Spreadsheet Tracking
    • Custom-haul load info and paperwork tracking
    • Clean gate station, windows, floor and furniture and outside area.

    Qualifications

    We Need You To Have:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Good verbal & written communication skills
    • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Work & Excel
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate positively & effectively with internal & external customers
    • Ability to work independent and as a team

    • College Degree (Associates or Bachelors)
    • The availability to work overtime
    • Work unsupervised
    • Ability to work in all-weather conditions
    • Nights and Weekend scheduled work.
    • 12 hour shifts / 3. 5 day workweek.
