17-18 Guest Services Attendant- Level I - Full-time / Part-time

JOB TITLE: Guest Services Attendant- Level I DIVISION: Mountain Operations REPORTS TO: Guest Services Supervisor & Guest Services Manager LOCATION: Moonbeam Lodge or The Village CLASSIFICATION: Seasonal Hourly DEPARTMENT: Guest Services/Grounds Maintenance PURPOSE OF POSITION: Maintain a safe and guest-friendly environment in parking lots and village areas; maintain safe and efficient loading zones; remove snow and ice from walkways and resort common areas; perform guest surveys; perform all other aspects and daily operations of the Guest Services Department that may be assigned. Provide assistance and helpful guidance to guests in a courteous, professional and respectful manner. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have sufficient communication skills to answer guest questions and the physical ability necessary to complete all other Guest Services duties and responsibilities Must be available to work any schedule and shift Monday through Sunday Must have the desire and ability to tolerate and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time including cold temperatures, inclement weather and moving between indoor and outdoor environments Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time The ability to meet and/or exceed satisfactory performance levels in all duties as assigned JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Snow removal from walkways and resort common areas with snow shovels and power assisted snow removal equipment Constant and continuous collection of trash and debris, sweeping etc. Be open to willingly accept other grounds maintenance duties and responsibilities within the department. Communicate in a pleasant and respectful manner with fellow employees and guests Assist guests with parking directions and with their equipment in loading zones. Possess and implement a thorough knowledge of appropriate procedures Be tactful and diplomatic when interacting with guestsConduct guest surveys Adhere to all company policies and procedures Complete asks as assigned Provide assistance and helpful guidance to guests in a courteous, professional and respectful manner UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS: Solitude Mountain Resort will provide knit hats and ball caps, snow pants, parka and vest. Employee must provide appropriate all weather boots, gloves, base layers and sunglasses to perform outdoor tasks noted above.
